BLACKLOCK BIRMINGHAM
A beautiful new home, a few surprises, and an April opening… Sign up to our newsletter to receive all the latest updates from our Birmingham opening and for your exclusive invitation to our soft launch!
Housed in a historic Victorian vicarage overlooking Cathedral Square, this remarkable building was once both a family home and a centre of parish life where tea was taken in the drawing room, sermons were drafted late into the night, and candlelit footsteps echoed along its corridors. Working closely with the Heritage Department, we’re carefully restoring its original features, revealing rich wood panelling and even a long-forgotten underground tunnel whose destination remains a mystery.
Restaurant Information
We are thrilled to share the (hopefully brilliant) news that we’re opening Blacklock in Birmingham in April!
With a fair wind, it won’t be long before we’re serving up All Ins and Sunday Roasts, doling out Granny’s White Chocolate Cheesecake and wheeling around our cocktail trolley, making Old Fashioneds tableside in our new home. We’re looking forward to working with friends old and new, teaming up with some brilliant local producers to help us concoct new dishes and drinks, bringing Blacklock firsts to the Birmingham menu.
To keep up to speed with all the Birmingham goings-on, and the first to hear about our Soft Launch, sign up to our newsletter, here.
Reservations
Walk-Ins
Walk-ins are always warmly welcome. Do pop in and we’ll get you your table as soon as we can. If there is a wait for a table, we’ll do our very best to make it as short as possible and you can grab a sharpener at our bar while we get to work on it for you.
Sundays
With roasts served all day Sunday, popular times tend to get booked up quite far in advance. So if you’re in the neighbourhood and fancy popping in, we’ll do our very best to accommodate walk-ins where we can but booking is recommended.
Reservations
We know that reservations are important for certain occasions, please email the restaurant if you’re looking to book a table for between 6-10 guests.
