This August, we’re teaming up with some of Shoreditch’s favourite restaurants and friends, bars and businesses for something the neighbourhood has never seen before.
On Saturday 15th August, Sagra di Shoreditch will bring together over 300 guests for the area’s first-ever communal neighbourhood feast, celebrating the people, places and businesses that make Shoreditch so special, while raising vital funds for local charities.
Hosted in the beautiful gardens of the Museum of the Home by Big Mama’s Gloria, the one-off event is inspired by Italy’s beloved Ferragosto celebrations, transforming the space into one long table where neighbours, friends and visitors can eat, drink and celebrate together.
We will be dolling out the goods alongside fellow Shoreditch favourites including Gloria and Kricket, serving a four-course feast that showcases the best of the neighbourhood, finishing with our signature White Chocolate Cheesecake, scooped tableside as the grand finale.
But the real reason for coming together goes beyond the food.
Every penny of profit from the event will be donated to two incredible charities: The Felix Project, helping fight food waste and hunger across London, and Shoreditch Trust’s Community Table, a local initiative providing nourishing meals and bringing people together every week.
It’s a celebration of everything that makes Shoreditch what it is — independent businesses supporting one another, opening their doors to the community, and using great food to do some good.
Alongside the feast, guests can expect live music, entertainment, a neighbourhood tombola with prizes donated by local businesses, creative workshops and plenty more surprises throughout the afternoon.
Tickets are £75 and include a welcome drink, four-course menu, wine throughout the afternoon, entertainment and entry to all activities, with 100% of profits supporting The Felix Project and Shoreditch Trust’s Community Table.
For us, it’s a chance to celebrate the neighbourhood we’ve proudly called home for years, alongside our friends, and shine a light on everything that makes Shoreditch such a special place.
