Over the last two weeks, the team have been busy but not just with chops as you’d expect!

Instead they stepped out the kitchens and hit the ground running… through mud, up mountains and across cities, all to raise money for our good friends and charity partners Only a Pavement Away. 

With an industry wide combined effort, more than £15,000 has been raised for OAPA and will go towards connecting people facing or experiencing homelessness, prison leavers and veterans, with the hospitality sector through long term, stable employment. 

Well done to everyone involved and to all who were able to donate! Shout out to Chandler, our Bar Manager in Canary Wharf, for organising Tough Mudder, to darling Dale our Business Development Manager in Manchester, for leading the way on race day at Manchester Great Run and to Maria, Operations Director, for making sure they made it off the mountains in one piece.

We love what Only A Pavement Away do and look forward to the opportunities to work with them speckled  through our year. Their work is evergreen and has helped over 650 people into employment which we think is pretty incredible.
