Last night at the Casual Dining Awards, Blacklock Manchester was voted Best Designed Restaurant of the Year!

To win this award – especially up against such strong, established restaurants – is an incredible recognition and one that we are humbled by. But what makes it even more meaningful, is that this was for the first restaurant outside of London.

Working with Gavin and Laura from Other Side Studios from the very beginning, we wanted to embrace the city’s rich history and stunning architecture and find space to invite the heart, soul, and neighbourhood Blacklock charm we know and love to Manchester — and the result is something we’re quietly very proud of.

This award is a testament to every person who helped bring the space to life: from design and build to front-of-house and kitchen, and everyone in between.
