Back in 2018, this burger was crowned winner of the Blacklock Burger Challenge, and it’s been a favourite ever since. Think of it as our take on In-N-Out’s animal-style – only here, you don’t need to whisper a secret code to order it.

What made it stand out from the rest was its down-to-earth ingredients and just the right mix of mince. For those who like a little extra detail with their dinner, the sweet spot is:

~ One part Chuck (which comes from the upper shoulder)

~ One part Brisket (lower shoulder)

~ One part Mince Trim & Bone Marrow

It’s stacked two high, then topped with double cheese – a glorious combo of Ogleshield (for its melting ooze) and the nation’s fav – Cheddar cheese.

We top it with onions (caramelised with vermouth) and a generous dollop of burger sauce – the chef’s own punchy mix of Hellman’s mayo, Colman’s mustard, Sriracha for a subtle kick and chopped gherkins, which is held together by a chargrilled sesame brioche bun – catching up every drop of goodness.

Oh it’s messy

The best things on the menu always are! The Blacklock Burger is ever-so-indulgent and when paired with Beef Dripping Chips and our crisp-cool pint from Harbour, what more could you want?
