Dare we quietly mutter it but spring is in the air, and, after a little Victorian plot twist (as any good listed building insists upon), our builders are in full swing at our beautiful new building on Cathedral Square.
We’ve been busy revealing original details tucked away beneath layers of time, and with the vintage parquet soon-to-be-laid and our trusty cocktail trolley ready to be dressed, we’ve been daydreaming about all the stories our new restaurant will soon hold. Long lunches, late dinners, Sunday roasts, laughter echoing off the walls; it’s shaping up to be every bit as cosy, characterful, and special as we imagined.

Long lunches, late dinners, Sunday roasts (almost as good as Mum’s), laughter echoing off the walls; it’s shaping up to be every bit as cosy, characterful, and special as we imagined. And, with a few excited butterflies in our stomachs, we’re thrilled to share that we look forward to welcoming you through the doors this April.
Between now and then, there’s plenty bubbling away behind the scenes. Olsi and our team of chefs are busily working away on all new dishes just for you. We’re also concocting a delicious new Blacklock Brew, and there’ll be a few surprises and exciting events with some brilliant local friends and all the fun and warmth that tends to come with our opening celebrations.
