
CHRISTMAS AT BLACKLOCK
Christmas is in full swing and our Pigs in Blanket and Yuletide Burger have taken up festive residence on our menus!
In the build up to Christmas and New Year we will be open from lunch and right the way through the day – leaving plenty of time for festive catch ups and mid-shop pitstops 🎁 Find out more about what we’re up to this festive season, here!
Its fair to say we’ve got a soft spot for Cornwall.
A couple of times a year —especially when the weather’s this good, we load up and head out the city to sunny South West to catch up with our brilliant farmers, brewers, roasters, butchers and most importantly friends.
Before we opened Blacklock, back in the day, we travelled up and down the land in our quest for the holy grail. From Yorkshire to Wales, Scotland to Dorset, we tried it all and, with a few more pounds around the waist, stumbled fortuitously on now lifelong friend, Matt Chatfield and father and son, Philip and Ian Warren.
You could now call it a bit of Blacklock pilgrimage and despite the very early start, nothing beats visiting the Blacklock Herd who live long, happy lives on the stunning moors grazing on lush Cornish grass, just as nature intended.
With a few pit stops along the way to see Giles at Reads Coffee Roasters, and Adam & Eddie too at Harbour Brewing Co – we had the absolute best time!
