Manchester Reservations

For some time now, we’ve held Manchester close to our hearts. Admirers from afar, we’ve looked on dotingly at its fabulous food scene, beautiful architecture and dreamed of one day calling it home. So when a local landlord asked what we thought of a cosy basement in the corner of a Grade ll listed warehouse, formerly home to a textile merchant rich with Mancunian history, we hopped on the first train from Euston, took one look and knew we’d found the one. That it’s hiding in plain sight beneath bustly Peter Street, a stone’s throw away from a few places we have ever-so-mild industry crushes on like Speak in Code and Schofield’s Bar sealed the deal.

Reservations

We know that bookings are important for certain occasions, whether your dining for two or celebrating in a larger group, we take reservations of up to a maximum of 8 people at both lunch and dinner. Sundays

Our fire pits have a makeover on Sundays to allow us to hang our meat over the open coals and cook to perfection. Therefore we serve Sunday Roast Menu only all day on Sundays and popular times can get booked up quite far in advance. So if you’re in the neighbourhood and fancy popping in, we’ll do our very best to accommodate walk-ins where we can but booking is recommended.

Walk-Ins

Walk-ins are always warmly welcome. Do stop by and we’ll get you your table as soon as we can. If there is a wait for a table, we’ll do our very best to make it as short as possible and you can grab a sharpener at our bar while we get to work on it for you.

Find us just down from the iconic Midland Hotel on Peter Street, with great transport links from Manchester Piccadilly, Salford Central, Victoria Station.
